BOM Bold Italic Header <FONT effect=> bug

This is quite annoying.

 

When you make the header of the BOM bold or italic or underline, now SolidWorks considers the name of that column to be <FONT effect=U>DESCRIPTION  instead of just DESCRIPTION.

 

My last column in the BOM has an equation to it.  All I'm doing is taking the Qty column and multiplying it by Weight Per Part column to get total weight.  When I was making the equation, it was so difficult to find the Qty column and the Weight Per Part column (see attached bottom picture)  All columns start with <FONT effect=U> and then get chopped off.

 

I think SW needs to address this bug.

Correct Answer

Call your SolidWorks Reseller Tech Support (who you bought SolidWorks from).  They will work through the issue and report is as a bug if needed.
