Several users at our facility are having problems with opening drawings of assemblies. The drawing comes up fine, but the feature manager, etc. gets stuck in viewing mode and never loads the file for editing.

We have let the machine run to make sure the file gets sufficient time to load, but an hour for a drawing that sometimes takes 10 seconds is not acceptable.

I am wondering if our anti-virus program could be creating the issues (AVG), but it only occurs with drawings of assemblies.

Has anyone else had similar issues with 2007 [problem did not occur in 2006]? If so, would you kindly post your remedy?
