I apologize if this is not the right place, but the support section seems to be non-existent for us who just use a collage licence. I can't get SW installed on my new computer. Install Manager won't connect to the servers to determine which products I am entitled to. This is the message:
Could not connect to the SolidWorks server to determine which products you are entitled to install.
Check the Internet connection and click Retry if this is a temporary problem. Otherwise, you may continue without the connection if you have installation source files available on your computer already.
First I thought your servers were down, but a friend tried and he got through using the exact same licence. My new computer is the Surface PRo 2, which runs the Win 8.1. I really don't understand what is wrong and hope someone has got a clue what's going on.
