Hello,
I'm sure this question has been asked several times in past but nothing popped up with my search for exactly what I'm looking for. A work colleague asked how to dimension to the workpoint on a chamfer (corner point before the chamfer is made) to aid in machining (for example, to machine taper to the workpoint for slope prior to putting on chamfer). I see the reference point is preserved in the part sketch. But when the part is put on a drawing, I don't see a way to dimension to this point (no point is recognized when using smart dimension). I have the "view sketches" and "view points" visibility turned on for the drawing but still nothing. I see that the ref. points do appear in the iso view, but not in the front view where I'd like to dimension the point. Please see my attached screenshots for clarity of what I'm asking. Thanks!
