A family member wants to have their company logo 3D printed.
Their logo is a vector file with a n .eps extension.
How can I import an .eps file into a Solidworks model?
Do I need to convert the eps file to something else first?
Thanks,
Bill

The only way I've been able to dabble with .eps files in SolidWorks is to have the gal in marketing open it in Adobe Illustrator (I think?), and save it out as a .dwg file. Then import that into a SolidWorks sketch. Clean it up before or after importing into SW, then in your case you'd have to extrude it as a solid and then save to an STL to send to the printer.
Hello Bill,
Open the eps file in Adobe Acrobat and save it as Jpeg file or any other format comaptible with SolidWorks.
And now you can use it.
