i have a lock assembly and i want to make it work how it will work in real life.. it it possible to make mates related on contact points? so if i turn the key it will contact the plate and slide the dead bolt over?
It may be possible with mates, but I'm thinking you'll have to turn on physical dynamics to get this to work.
Thank you that does work for testing everything i guess i cant save it in that state though? only activate it through move comand?
Correct, that really only works for checking it with the move command. I assume you really want to check the motion. If you build mates to control it to work like it's supposed to, you won't be checking anything physically.
