Hi - and welcome to the new forum format for SolidWorks and
3D Content Central. Please post your thoughts, feedback and ideas
for 3D Content Central Beta2 here.
Hi Keri, I also would like to know more about 3D Content
Central Beta2. When did it start? etc..etc Good thing I watched
Greg's webcast today or I probably would be lost, but I do like the
new format.
Hi - There were 2 groups of letters sent out. Both were sent
on December 5th, but I think one was early in the morning and the
other was late in the evening. The letters should give a good
details of what Beta2 is all about. Feel free to post your thoughts
and report any issues you find!
One thing I noticed that may or may not be an issue is when viewing
a model using the "Preview 3D" function.
You can roll the mouse wheel "up" to zoom out, but when I roll the
mouse wheel "down" it will not zoom in. Instead it rolls the page
in the browser down.
I have tried selecting the preview window in an attempt to "lock
in" on that frame, but the wheel roll down still doesn't work.
Since most SolidWorks/E-Drawings users are used to using the mouse
wheel to zoom in and out, it would be great to get this fixed.
Great job with the website! I liked the Beta1 site, but the Beta2
site looks even better!
Same thing here. I didn't get an e-mail either. It could be
due to the fact that I haven't submitted any issues as of yet
(until today
). If it is possible to resend the e-mail to me as well, that would
be great.
Thanks!
Keri P.
The letter you received from Gopal should have outlined what Beta2 was all about better than I can explain it here
The plan is for about 3 weeks, depending on how much feedback we are getting at that time (more feedback we would keep it open longer).
Thanks!
Keri P.
I didn't get any e-mail either. Can't help but wonder if there wasn't a problem with it going out!
