Hi,

As I built my assembly I started out with the cams and the followers and mated them.  It worked fine at first when I did the animation but after I added more parts to the assembly the cam mates started jumping to the other side as it rotated.  Is there a way in solidworks to specify the cams as solid and for the mating parts not to pass through them?  I've been working on this for more than a week.  Among other things, I've tried adding path mates to restrict the distance that the followers could travel and also a distance mate to keep the follower on one side.  Neither worked.
