I don't have any experience with the Dell T3610, but all of the other Dell workstations that I have used have been pretty easy to work on. I would not expect the 3610 to be any different.
Dell seems to push the Nvidia cards. Too bad. I ended up with a Quadro 600 instead of the V4900 because I wasn't allowed to choose the card I wanted. It's not a bad card, but it ticked me off that I wasted money on a card that was more expensive and less capable. You can sometimes get the configuration that you want if you order by phone or email, rather than online. My IT was doing the talking/writing, so I ended up with a slightly less than optimal system.
