ok so I have created this cabinet frame and now want a cut list, so I can put it into production, but this is what I get.
am I suppose to fill in lengths? or should it do it for me? Thanks
Insert a drawing view of the part, click on it to highlight it, then go to Insert > Tables > Weldment Cut List.
That looks like a Bill of Materials. You need to insert a Cut List instead. Insert > Tables > Weldment Cut List.
Glen thats exactly what I need but couldnt find where to get a cut list so tried BOM
this worked thanks. much better
I'm glad you got it to work. You might want to mark the question as answered. I don't care about the points, but that way other people won't think you still need help.
Weldment lengths in BOM
Even though it's a weldment and the cutlist table maybe the better option, don't forget that a BOM can be used for displaying the cutlist information. You need to select the detailed cutlist option with the indented BOM, and correct columns. Sometimes handy.
