I am creating multiple configurations of a part. I had created five configurations and the file size was approximately 8mb. I created two more configurations and the file size is over 1gb. How is this possible and what can I do to undo it? Thanks
Thank you for the information, but managing configurations is not the issue. It turns out someone else had this problem and I just did not find it until now. It has to do with the display states. So many display states had been stored that the file grew exponentially. I deleted the display states and now everything is back to normal.
This is a good forum. Thank you!
Each time you open a configuration, a good bit of info is saved as part of the file- that's why opening a config is slower the first time, than it is the next time when switching between configs. There is an option to save the file without saving the extra info created when these are opened.
Also - welcome to the forum!
