Hello everyone. I am a new member to this community, so I apologize if this has already been covered and I was just unable to find the information on my own. I'm having a bit of trouble with PV360 and rendering assemblies with transparent parts. Referring to the picture below, I would like to render the same assembly, but with the aluminum uprights 50% transparent so as to place emphasis on the steel adapters. However, when I change the transparency of the uprights, PV360 freezes almost instantly. Has anyone else had problems similar to this? If so, how did you go about fixing it. Thanks for your time. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Byron,
Welcome to the forums,
I will not be able to help you with your computer specs, you might want to let other users know what type of
computer, video board......., They will be asking.
Here are a few things to try,
Instead of making your parts transparent, use a glass or plastic appearance, you can adjust the transparency.
When you render check your quality settings and use "good" it will render faster.
You also might have to add some extra lighting.
hope this helps.
