solidworks boat problems

hey, i'm a little new to the solidworks program in general, and for school i am currently attempting to create a boat by sketching individual parts on several seperate planes and then lofting them to create my boat. the problem i have is that now that i have lofted my boat, it will not let me do anything else with it. every time i try to do something, the boat dissapears and the only way i can get it back is to exit out of solidworks without saving, then going back in. there are also several errors and warnings that i cannot explain, and do not seem to be incorrect yet i am being told that they are. i have linked to my file below and would appreciate any help i could get. thank you. Jon

There is nothing wrong with your part. The problem is with your SW installation or a system problem on your computer, like a graphics problem for example.

You may want to check your system memory also, to see if it is getting maxed out.

Jon,

You most likely have to do a CTRL-Q (forced rebuild).
That is, it seems the model needs a full rebuild to regen the 3D graphics data?
Anyhow,... when I tried to edit any of your sketches and rebuild (default red/grn icon or rollback and roll to end), I see what you see, no boat.

I was able to open and edit your model without problems. I did note that your Loft1 has problems in sketches 3,6,7,8 (dangling relationships) - see the screen capture.

I deleted those dangles in the attached model. See if that fixes things on your end. I agree with Matt - the problem is with your workstation.
