Comma in an Alias and Input Formula

In trying to create a concatenated description I am running into syntax issues. I require a comma in-between each variable in the description. This works fine for normal variable by just putting a comma, but when I need to use an in-line alias that adds a comma if a variable is populated the result is not desirable.

For a radio button I want to have it add 'STI, ' to the description. I'm stuck with this alias right now [%STI(Yes=STI,No=)%]. If I try [%STI(Yes='STI, ',No=)%] to try and create a

string of 'STI, ' it just outputs:

Is there anyway to escape that first comma and add it to the field?
