This may be a glitch. I'm trying to explode the panels on this hexagonal bed. When I collapse the exploded view two of the panels do not collapse. I can't put them back where they are suposed to be because there is nothing in the feature tree. Rebuild/force rebuild dow not help. So weird! See attached part. Part is in SW 2013.
For some reason the explode feature created a move body feature for the two separate bodies without leaving behind an editable or deletable feature in the tree. At this point, you can either use move/copy bodies to to reassociate the bodies to their original position or delete the bodies and create a new circular pattern, omitting unnecessary copies.
So it is a glitch.

I believe you can submit a service request within the SW Portal.
bugs are generally reported through the VAR chain.
The parts remain there even after deleting the exploded view configuration (as in the file)
