I need to convert an assembly with many parts into a single part file to perform a FEA studies.

Is there an export / import option available that will allow me to mesh and run study?

BTW if you can open the assembly then save your assembly as part and use as required.

 

In the assembly go to File Save As. In the save as window, pick save as type as Part. Select the appropriate option and save
