In the products I design, there is a bit of plumbing throughout the unit.
This plumbing is an assembly built upon the centerlines contructed using a 3D sketch.
When I must create ajn opposite hand version of the unit and mirror the plumbing assembly, I mirror the assembly
and (with the exception of several flipped elbows) everything comes out mostly aligned except the 3D sketch.
Now the mirrored plumbing has no centerlines with which to follow.
The main problem is that the parts become renumbered in the bill of materials and upon manufacturing, the fabricators complain that the right side part numbers do not match the left side part numbers.
All in all, it would be a good thing to be able to mirror a 3D sketch.
Anyone else experience this frustration?
