Does anybody have the same situation as me when isolate some components from an assembly, all the components have only one coulour? Is there any way to change the setting so I can see each component in different colour?
If you want to change colors of parts in the assembly, without affecting the colors assigned to them at the part level, you can expand your tree as shown, click on the part in the appearance column, and assign a color. At the top of the appearance PropertyManager you will need to check the appropriate box to change the color at the part level or in the assembly only.
If this doesn't answer your question, and I suspect it may not, can you please explain further? When you use the Isolate command all the other parts should disappear until you Exit Isolate. If you mean that the selected components change color when you use the Isolate command, that's not normal behavior. If that's it, it may be a graphics card issue.
As you mention, it could be a graphics card issue. It only happens recently, I haven't seen this situation before. I will update my graphic card drive and hope It will fix this problem.
Run the SolidWorks Rx tool first. It will tell you whether the card & driver are suitable.
