I am trying to manually add a weldmwnt profile and even though I have administrator priveledges on my machine when I try to save the file in the "C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\lang\english\weldment profiles\ansi inch\Wood" directory (\Wood is a folder I added) I get an error message telling me that I can't save there because I am not and administrator.
I have no idea what the problem is

In addition to Deepak's excellent advice, you might want to consider copying the existing weldment profile (.sldlfp) files (with the right number of sub-folders) from the existing location to another folder on your computer, or to a network if you're in a multi-user environment, then make the appropriate changes to point to this new folder at Tools > Options > System Options > File Locations. If you don't then I believe you stand a good chance of losing your custom profiles when you update to a new SW version.
There is a good chance that you don't have write access to that folder. Try it on a different drive other than C and check. If that works that talk to your IT/SW administrator.
If you're admin then make sure you're logged in as admin. Also disable UAC (in control panel) for putting those profiles there.
