Can somebody tell me how to change my Solidworks setting, so when I open a ".sat" file from this view
change to this view:
hei'ya Andy, if l remember correctly, by import you
must select the B-Rep mapping check box in the
Import Options dialog box to retain those entities/attributes
when opening choose file type.sat, and then options,
let us know how you get on - have a good'n kelef
Thanks for your response.
I select the B-Rep mapping check box in the Import Options and open the same file, the problem still in there.
hei'ya Andy, can you post the .sat file or e-mail me to see if l can do it - kelef
Here is the .sat file.
hei'ya Andy, l guess l misunderstood your request,
l thought the model wasn't able to be manipulated
you want to have the import as shaded with edges toggled on?
if so sorry, l don't know l've always got that view
as a keyboard short-cut "Ctrl+9" if that is the query.
sorry dude l cann't help - kelef
Thanks for your time. Don't worry too much. It may be the Solidworks itself problem.
I'm not sure if there is a direct option but you can do it using a macro which will open up the SAT file and change the view to shaded edges mode. Do you think you would need that kind of macro or can simply use the icon or shortcut key.
Thanks for your help. But I am not very good to use macro. I would like to use icon and shortcut.
