When i use the Solidworks Task Scheduler to Export Workgroup PDM files It continues to run after the task has already been completed. I am exporting files as PDF's to another local folder and once it has exported every file it continues to run. By run I mean it keeps saving the files as copies on to the desktop until the drive is full and is causing my Solidworks to crash. Has anyone ever had this problem that may have some advice for me?
I have found the Task Scheduler to be tempermental when it comes to creating or exporting PDFs. If you have the option for creating PDFs on check-in enabled on your system as shown below, I use a macro I downloaded from here: http://solidworks.burkesys.com/2010/09/workgroup-pdm-macro-2-save-out-all-files-in-a-project/. You will have to change the login specifications and directory for the PDFs in the code, but it has always worked well for me. There is even an option line in it for specifying the Workgroup folder to use.
Otherwise, browse the API section of the forum there are many examples that you could try.
