Is there a way to change the "Bill of Material Options" default from "configuaration name" to "document name"?
I am referring to menu options when you right-click on a configuration name, and choose properties. The "Bill of Material Options" is second menu.

I'm not sure but for me if I manually create a new configuration then the default is "document name". If I create configs in a design table then they all get created with "configuration name". My VAR already reported this as a "bug".
You could change the status of your default config in your part template, but are you looking to set the default for configs created with a DT?
My template is set to document name. It gets switched when a part is created from the Toolbox. I am wanting to change the default in the Toolbox part creation not in a design table.

No, this is a current software limitation.

I would like to know if this is possible also. It is a pain to have to change that after creating a part from the Toolbox.
