I'm looking to better understand how the motion analysis works when using sketch blocks. Has anyone come across a good beginner tutorial they would recommend?
Sketch blocks are just stick figures and not a good representation of the real world.
My motion analysis employed disjoint solid bodies spatially constrained by mates. Thus all the features of solids were available for my analysis and I could view the mechanism from all angles. Although not a manufacturing model, it looked better than stick figures.
Why would you bother?
