I create drawing blocks as I need them, mostly of fluid flow components. Is there a way, AT CREATION to establish a scale factor for the block? The idea is to make a block in any drawing and tell it that it sits in a 1 x 1 (or as needed) bounding box, so that I can use a common scale factor in the block property manager of the drawing I'm putting the block into. Clients are mentioning the differences in size of the valves, for example, asking if that indicates a different pipe size.
Also, can I go back to my existing blocks and re-size them so that they will meet the new standard scale? I have one that defaults to a .29 scale factor and is still way too big and one that defaults to 4. That's irritating, I'd like them all to default to 1. I'd like to make these edits once and get all my dreams to come true, if you see my point...Can somebody help me do that?
Or perhaps there is an existing, properly scaled library available. That would be nice...
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Jim
