Hello, i am new in composite simulation can anyone suggest me tutorial for that . Especially i want to know about triad and which colour of arrow indicates stack direction..
I want to know which arrow(Blue /Red) indicates direction of stacking . I tried tutorial .when i simulate with composite i found composite results are worse than its pure metal
what arrows in the composite setup are you talking about, are you talking about these ones: http://help.solidworks.com/2013/English/SolidWorks/cworks/t_Adjusting_Composite_Orientation_Options.htm?id=c63845a00c544119af714d3e1e6bb53e#Pg0
regarding the results, composites vs metal, it is totally possible that composites won't meet your design criteria. but if you're concerned about the accuracy of your results vs physical, it would be helpful to know more about what you're comparing the simulation against. the software is validated (Examples in the software), generally differences between physical and simulation are related to setup or input problems. but once we know more, we can dig deeper.
Have you checked inside the software? I think there is An example. There is also a training curriculum for it. Most of the time that I have to refresh myself I go through the help on that section and also YouTube. We also offer some online training either general or specific to your application if you're interested. Let me know, jared@hawkridgesys.com.
What does your geometry look like and what trouble are you having with the triad?
