We are one year into the release of EPDM (2012 SP1) and now we have a need to deviate from the standard file structure. The current file structure is Engineering with the sub folders Archive and Confidential. The business is requesting a template to allow the engineers to separate their various designs. No big deal, I created a template that will allow them to do this. The issue I have is that I want to restrict them from calling the sub folders what ever they want. Is there a way to limit this?
Here is what I would like.
The sub folders A and B would be manually created via the new template I just built. I would like to limit the users from naming these folders anything other than A, B,C.... It would be great if there was a way for EPDM to know that the user is creating this group of sub folders for the first time and automatically name it A. If there were already an A in the folder then EPDM would know that the folder structure the user is creating should be named B or the next letter.
