Hi,

I have trouble in using the function Mid Surface. I am trying to import a 2D drawing in Ansys which would be possible only if I change my 3D drawing in solidworks to 2D  using

MID SURFACE option. I know MID SURFACE option enables one to create a zero thickness part which inturn help to create a shell element analysis.

Even after creating Mid Surface for my model, still I am not able to import my file in to ANSYS. Any one have any experience in performing this action?
