Hello again! Is it possible to cut a already created model afterwards for using symmetry and reducing calculation time?
Unless I'm missing something in the question, yes. Simply do a Cut Extrude along the part where you'd like your symmetry to be.
Your not missing something, I just didn't think it would be so easy. I thought there might be a function in the simulation entries where i could choose the cut virtually and would not change the model.

No problem. For what it's worth, I normally add an FEA Configuration to the model so when I add cuts and split lines the designers don't have a go at me for ruining their model!
Virtual cutting is an interesting idea. That does get done with 2d simplification but with traditional symmetry it is done by the user in advance.
