After hiding unwanted weldment cut list items if i click rebuild they will be visible again??
If you have a cut list in a drawing with lets say 10 items in it, but you only want to show 6 of them, first thing you need to do is to make sure your 6 items are at the top of the list, you can reorder them by clicking on the left hand side of a row and dragging it up or down the list.
When you have the 6 items at the top of the list now right click on the row with the seventh item and from the drop down menu select split above, this will then split the table into 2 parts. Then drag the part of the table you do not want off the sheet, you can leave it just off sheet in case you might want to merge it with the original again at a later date or if you want or you can delete it.
So you cannot make them stay hidden?
Yep so i had to use the full cut list on every page, that will make for unnecessary confusion
FYI i'm trying to hide the items on the weldment cut list in a "drawing" not model
Your hiding it with this command in the formatting toolbar right?
When I rebuild it stays hidden, not sure why yours isn't
Alternatively you can right click on your 'cut list item' in your part file from the feature tree. Exclude from cut list.
Thank you again, split and delete who would have guessed it was so easy...
Wouldn't that exclude the parts from the cut list on my next drawing sheet that i want the parts to show up in?
Yes, it will.
