I'm hearing that you can display your 3D cad assembly from solidworks into Labview.
The posts below mostly suggest a .stl file which is a single file format not an assembly.
I didn't understand the procedure to do this. Any suggestions?

We figured out how to make this work. I thought I share the findings.
1. Keep your assembly small. Large formats almost don't work 500MB or less
2.Export your assembly to a STL ASCII format.
Attached picture shows STL settings in Solidworks
2. Load STL file into 3D graphic view of VI.
Works just great.
