I am working with Solidworks 2013 SP3.0 and am trying to use task scheduler to produce rendered or non-rendered animations. Unfortunately the scheduler runs the file and says it is complete along with a correct log file but does not create any file. No file in the location directed or any even on the desktop. No error message or anything.
The scheduler works fine for image rendering but not for the annimations. Let me know if anyone has a fix.
Hi Shawn, a little kick for this topic, I am having the same problem.
I read somewhere that it could be an issue with not being logged in as administrator and thus Task schedular not having the authorisation to save the file. But as far as I know I am logged in as administrator, just having a single desktop running a single version of sw.
In my case my overnight image renderings were succesfully completed by the task scheduler, but I can't find the files anywhere, so they were not saved. It is a pitty that you can't view the files directly from the task scheduler.
