We are a primarily a manufacturer of sheetmetal parts and we are in the process of converting from AutoCad to Solidworks.

We to date have been using RADAN as our nesting software for our turet punch and plasma cutting equipment.

We are finding that the transfer of Solidworks data into this program is less than ideal with a lot of reentry of data that is already in Solidworks.

We are told that the fixes are probably a year out. With that in mind we are looking at what is out there for better options both for what we presently need

and the future as we add more automation to our fabrication equipment.

Can anybody give me their optinions and experiences with other programs that are out there and more compatable with Solidworks?
