SO I CONSTRUCTED MY MODEL BUT I WANT TO BE ABLE TO EDIT HOW FAR THE ANGLE GOES DOWN THE C CHANNEL.. IT HAS IT FLUSH AT THE BOTTOM AND I WANT IT TO GO UP A FEW INCHES... ALL THE SMART DIMENSIONS GIVE ME EVERYTHING EXCEPT THIS DIMENSION.

I was able to mirror it and make it go in a different direction but that didnt do the trick... the locate profile doesn't allow me to edit the location so ultimately Im still stuck witht he < in the same position
This seems like an easy fix but to a newbie this is complex as all hell
Can you alter the sketch used for placing the structural members? If not can you post the part using the advanced editor in the top right corner so we can see what your working with?

When you used the Structural Member function to insert the angles, the profile sketch (the .sldldf file from your library) was placed with it's origin on the path sketch. To move it, right-click on the function in the tree and choose the Edit icon. Near the bottom of the FeatureManager there is a button for "Locate Profile". Click on that and pick the point on the profile sketch where you want the path to be. If there isn't a point in the correct place, close out the Structural Shape function, expand the tree, choose the profile sketch, right-click on it and Edit. Place a point at the desired location, then follow the steps above concerning "Locate Profile".
By the way, editing this sketch will only affect it in this part. It won't feed back to the .sldlfp file.
try editing the structural member for the item needing moved. tinker with the "mirror profile" options and the "locate profile" options.
