Deactivate Intel on chip GPU (HD4600)?

Question asked by Stefan Mayer on Jul 12, 2013

Hello,

I have bought the new Intel Core i7-4770K. The Problem is this CPU has a graphic chip called HD4600. And I will use an AMD W5000. My question is. Should I go to bios and deactivate the HD4600? I will only plug in displays on the AMD W5000. The PC is the following:

Intel Core i7-4770K

Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H

Thermalright Macho 120

Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Kit 8GB PC3-12800U CL9-9-9-24

AMD FirePro W5000 2048MB GDDR5

Plextor M5 Pro 128GB

be quiet! Pure Power L8-CM 430W

Samsung SH-224BB

Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced USB 3.0

Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Max 2 Displays 24“

Thanks for Help.
