Hi, hope someone can be of some help.
For an aggregate several hours now I've been trying to set up Solidworks on my computer to work with out lab's Vault server, and I'm a bit stuck by the fact that if I go to Tools->Add Ins, where every guide I can find seems to assume there will be an option for "Solidworks Workgroup PDM", no such option is present. All I see are the toolbox, photoview etc other add ins.I installed Solidworks Explorer/Workgroup PDM, and am able to see our vault files through that, but am hoping there is a way to integrate the vault browser into my main SW client. Please let me know if you have any advice.
Brian, the PDMW client is handled when you install SolidWorks Explorer. If you did not opt for that it would not be installed. Simply go back and install that from the disk. Unless you are installing from an admin image, then you'll have other things to do.
