I am trying to loft a rail on a viboratory bowl and I am having trouble getting it to loft without twisting the feature. I have used "Normal to Profile" for both the start and end constraint set to 1 on the direction and it seems the program is not allowing me to use the correct profile because the loft doesn't follow the correct feature. Sometimes Solidworks will allow this to work. Perhaps there is a setting to change which "profile" to use? When I use this with the guide curve feature it will twist the rail, however when I unselect the guide curve it remains twisted. This cange be changed to untwisted by using the green target orbs for the twist. So this can be resolved. I need to use the guide curve feature, however, to maintain a distance of 0.225 inches from the guide. This is CRITICAL. Any help is appreciated. Also, I have been having trouble with the merge feature. This is not critical, however if it could be solve I would be grateful. Attached is the part file. The part in question is loft 46.
