in assembly mood, i always see 2 feature trees on the screen. i dont understand how it appear , and what it mean. i just pul lower ones down until close it.
i like to know how it appear , what it means, how it helps in my job, how to set close.

Splitting The Manager Pane
I rarely use this ability, but it can be useful to view different portions of the Manager Pane.
eg. One view can be of the assy, or expanded features of a part, and the other view can be of a part which is being edited.
One good feature I use with the double trees is when you need to change a lot of mates.
You can select the bottom tree to properties. When you click the part in the assembly it will show the mates and you can directly edit from there.
If you click view mates on the part this second dialogue box comes up which is annoying because you have to close it to get the parts back.
Hunting down the mates in the tree can be taxing as well. If its just one or two mates no biggie, but if you have a lot of mates double up that tree and enjoy.
There is nothing to worry about this. Just double click on the line (shown in the picture) to close it and save the assembly. Should not come until you click on the same line on the top of the assembly tree.
