What do you do with SolidWorks? Rendering? FEA?
I have purchased 2 Dell Precision Laptops over the past 6 years (contemplating #3 soon). At the end of the first 2-yr service agreement on my first laptop workstation, something happened that seriously took a long time to boot the system. I was within the final month and resigned myself to being "hung out to dry"/delayed until after the service period ran out. The technician that helped me spent nearly 2 hrs stepping me thru how to restore everything and I got another 1 yr from the system. This was even on a system that I had purchased on their Outlet Website.
In short, I would not hesitate to buy a Dell from Dell. Do yourself a favor and consider using the Dell Small/mid office Outlet to save some money.
Please think again before purchasing Dell system
I've been a Dell customer for a long time (15 yrs and never missed a payment) both for personal and business use and decided STOP and NEVER doing business with Dell again
I purchase a laptop last Feb and somehow the billing address was messed up and I missed the payments. Dell never never called me to inform the incident but ignorantly sent the negative information to my credit history. Luckily, I found out from the experian and tried to call Dell. The rep from Dell was not willing to solve the problem but cruelly threating my credit history would get damage which they aready did - then I asked to talk with her manager, then she called herself a manager from Dell - what a shamefull JOKE
Well. they reported to my credit history, now it's my responsibility to report back so everyone knows
