Hi,

Does anyone has a title of a manual for using the Routing Add in? The help files doesn't work out for me. Herman Jan (Netherlands)

We've been trying to use the routing package for several years with very limited sucess. There are a number of problems we've had (fittings spontaneously flipping backwards, changing size, or disappearing, etc.) that are acknowledged as bugs in the software, with no suggestions as to how to fix or avoid them. We've had to resort to deleting and recreating routings when they blow up. If you can follow an *exacting* procedure in creating the routes they are pretty stable, otherwise.....
We are probably pushing the envelope here, with assemblies of dozens of routings and tens of thousands of parts total. The base Solidworks is excellent, but the routing add-on is not looked on favorably here.

Hi,

My company bought the Routing add-inn (SW office Premium). And I am responsible for using it. Now I am busy reading the help files about the Routing. I find it diffucult, I got 1 year experience in Solid Edge. My company builts caravans. Like an Airstream but then the European way. And the watersupply, waterdrainage and heating should be modelled in the Routing add-inn.

Wes Mosier has the best manual for using the Routing package. It is a great help in using the routing add-In properly, so routes don't explode.

Well we will see how things go with routing. We just purchased 2 seats and got a great end of the year deal from our reseller Fisher/Unitech. www.funtech.com.
