We have encountered a problem we hope someone might be able to help us solve. We are a manufacturing company and use 2D drawings to tell our shop how to make products. We use a lanscape A size template for most everything we make. We also use and automated work order drawing system. That is every time we print a work order a drawing is printed with it. The sytem requires the drawing to be in a potrait type configuration. Our problem is that when we tell solidworks to save the image as a portrait it does not rotate the image it just rotates the paper (please see attached examples). We are having to save the drawing in landscape and then having to open it in a seperate program to rotate the image. Am I missing something or does solidworks not have the capabilty to rotate the image so we can get a full page print. We don't have this problem in autocad becasue it actually rotates the image with the paper. We are hoping to transition to Solidworks through, but this is a major problem for us.
