I quite agree and it was ment to be that way.
How can a company (Solidworks), charge for late renewal while we were in a VAR change-over, (whilst still on subs) and the VAR (company), went on holiday during the change-over and our subs expired, telling us that we would be still covered until they (company) returned?
Sounds like your new VAR dropped the ball. I would expect them to go to bat for you and work this out with SolidWorks. If they come back saying they couldn't convince SolidWorks,then tell them you expect them to pay the late fee for you.
