Hey Everyone,

I am having trouble sweeping a square along a spiral. I have multiple spiral dimensions I am trying to use for the sweep path and the sweep operation fails for some of these. I get the Rebuild Error: "Sweep operation failed to complete. Smooth path is needed for sweep with twist."

As a an example here are two cases, one works and the other does not. I am trying to use a 0.05 mm square which is centered on the spiral as the swept profile.

Spiral that works: 5mm circle

          .3125 pitch

          8 revolutions

Spiral that doesn't work: 5mm circle

.10204082mm (also tried truncating this to .102 which didnt work)

                                   24.5 Revolutions

For the sweep settings I am using the square as the profile, the spiral as the part, Twist along path, define by: degrees = 0.

I have looked through the forums and didn't see a solution. I tried to make all of the dimensions bigger by a factor of 100, since some contributors indicated small parts may not sweep correctly, but this did not help. Any insight in getting this to work would be appreciated. I attached an image of the spiral that doesnt work and the profile for reference.

Please let me know if I can provide any more information. Thanks.
