I sketched up a part using a temporary assembly. Now I want to delete the parts external references to the assembly and make the part "local", but i can't for my life figure out how.

I do not want to break och lock the references. I want to brainwash the part. It shouldn't remember anything at all about its previous history and I cant seem to understand what I am missing.

If I go into my "offending" sketch and Display/Delete Relations, it doesn't have any external (to the model) references. Still it maintain it's heritage with the ? and the corrensponding Out of context reference pointing to my non existant assembly.

I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. I would greatly appreciate any input in this matter.
