I would like to know how, if possible, to query an access database in order to fill custom property table in SW2012. Our database uses internatl part numbers to which are attached multiple details such as materials, prices, manufacturer, etc.

What I would like to do, if possible, is to have a custom property table filled in automatically in SW using the same part number. Let's say I have the 3D part 310594, I would like the property table to lookup in the DB and fill the fields in SW with the information contained in the DB. Is that something that is possible ? Our electrical department does the exact thing I am looking to do with Altium.
