I have a Solidworks technical drawing, I went to Save As and want to bring it into Illustrator for my graphic design team to use. I tried saving it as an ai file and dxf file, nothing worked properly. The issue is this- the curves! When I bring it in, all the curves becomes a ton of straight edges connected with points- my supervisor is concerned that this will become problematic with our cutter machine* and the graphic design team. How can I ensure the curves are actually curves? I tried nearly every option when saving as a dxf. Please help!
