You can rotate a view.
Welcome to the forum. In addition to what Tony said, after bringing in a drawing view you can left-click on it and choose Drawing View > Relative View. That will take you back to your model where you can choose a front and right face for the new view.
You can also create a custom view in your part that you can place in your drawing. I'm about to go home, but if you need help with that someone will be glad to explain how (or do a search here).
Perhaps I don't understand the problem correctly but I'm surprised nobody mentioned
1/ Tools<Align Drawing View<Horizontal Edge
Or when that doesn't work
2/ you could alsways use the Align section View method. Where you put the first point outside the model, the second click is either straight horizontal or straight vertical from the first point and the 3rd one is to create the line cutting thought the part. In other words, the first two points make it so that you'll have an section view which is easy to rotate in increments of 90° while the line created by the second and third point will determine what exactly you want to have viewable.
