Is there a way to specify the orientation of the legs in a multi-jog leader? For example, can you force a leg to be horizontal or parallel to another line?
Not that I'm aware of, but I would like it if all leader types would snap to horizontal or vertical.
Nearest 45deg would be best, I think?
Maybe tie it to the spin increment.
Multi-jogs already softsnap to horizontal and vertical. They don't automatically snap to geometry, nor is it currently possible to lock their alighment direction. How would you use the functionality if these additional abilities were available?
In that post I wasn't referring to multi-jog leaders specifically. I occasionally use a note with a horizontal or vertical leader to show load direction for testing. ( I use a note instead of a sketched line because I need the arrow.) It would be handy for them to snap to horizontal or vertical instead of just zooming in and eyeballing it. I also like Ian's idea about leaders snapping to 45°.
