Can someone please clarify for me...Under the PDM Workgroup requirements list it says that the PDM Workgroup Client and Viewer can't be installed on Windows XP.
Can we still install the PDM 2013 Workgroup Vault and Viewer on Windows 2003 server and have XP windows Web Clients access the PDM Viewer on Windows 2003 server? It looks like E-Drawings 2013 viewer is still supported on Windows XP so these clients should be able to work with just Web Browser and E-drawings correct?

Thanks for your reply and the verification regarding the Windows 2003 server running workgroup PDM services.
With regard to the second half of my question...do you know if we can still use Windows XP clients to run a PDM Web client to the server hosting the PDM viewer. I know that E-drawings 2013 is still supported on XP but I just wanted to make sure we wouldn't have any issues as Solidworks requirements say that PDM Viewer can't be run on Windows XP. I believe they are just talking about the actual PDM viewer service and not an Windows XP web browser client accessing the viewer service on a server.
Our reseller said we could not but it seems that an Windows XP PC running a compatible browser shouldn't have problems accessing the PDM Viewer service through a web URL.

Yes the 2013 Workgroup vault can be still installed on Windows Server 2003 but you will get warnings at the begining that it is not a supported OS. That being said you will not be able to install the Vault Admin tool on this system. There are SPR's looking into this so check with your reseller to find out about them being fixed. Also going forward the 2014 version will not be supported on the Windows Server 2003 for any product.
