Hello there,
I'm working on 2010 premium at school and am trying to animate my rube goldberg device. I'm new to this, and so is my teacher, so im not all the way sure what to do.
I've tried adding gravity and various contact points but it seems SW either ignores the contact points it behaves very oddly as parts will go off in different directions. Could someone explain what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Cody w
I figured that there was a teacher out there who did not know what he was on about.
Etiquette in this forum is to show us a screen capture (.png format) of what you have achieved so far, so that we know you are not just a troll, and we will be enthused to help.
I suppose you are talking about what I call Rubic's Cube, and I know nothing about its mechanism, but you will need to in order to simulate its motion.
Gravity and Contact do not come into it. I suggest that one point of the mechanism be mated coincident with the SW Origin and Fixed against translation and rotation. Then you can Mate the other components to each other and rotate any component.
