Hi
When I have two of the same structural member separated from eachother I only get the length of one.
In a cutlist bom it will show QTY 2 and the length of 1 (Length 800). I would like to get the total length of the 2 (800+800=1600) to show in a custom property so that I can put it as a note in a drawing, If it Is possible?
In the cut-list property, is there a value for QTY like "QTY@@@Cut-List-Item2@skiva test.SLDPRT"? If so I can use an equation in the part file to show the total length in a custom property.
You may check out this solution using BOM tables instead of Cut-List tables (I don't like this solution but its possible) -
http://www.moderntechmech.com/Drawings/weldment-totals-by-cut-list-item.html
And I also suggest you to check an AddOn that my company develops which may help you exporting your cut-list data to Excel file, AutoStruct.
Edit:
I also found this link-
http://gupta9665.wordpress.com/2010/11/02/how-to-use-equations-in-drawing-tables/
Which explains how to use equations in cut-list tables. You can use this and save the Weldment Table as a template so you will always get it.

What do you mean by "overal length"? All sketch line in the feature or one segment?
